Enjoy Life!

With the onset of covid & lockdown, I began felting ferociously in my bedroom studio & was so fortunate to get brought in to my local art gallery. During this time I studied online with several European teachers & learned to move beyond making scarves into creating luxurious skirts, dresses & even jackets! After my divorce I decided to experiment with my newfound freedom & started exploring making bags, necklaces & bowls, even encorporating deer antlers into some of my pieces of art. Wanting to branch out even more, I took a series of 3D sculptural classes with a very well know European teacher last summer. These classes can be very difficult to master what with the online aspect instead of in person & the language barrier, in addition to my challenge with understanding & following written directions with pictures & drawings. I failed at nearly all of my attempts to replicate the instructors art and became defeated, taking a long break to refresh. I was then presented with an opportunity to move into a better, larger studio surrounded by nature at my best friend’s property in Washington. Here I am rediscovering my vision & cannot wait to share it in this inspired new year of 2023!
